Senior Services
Gwinnett County Senior Services was the first that we partnered with. Within their network of clients, they offer us the opportunity to come to the rescue of Seniors with minor to substantial home issues that need attention.
This past year Ground Zero Grace was given the “Home Repair Volunteer of the Year” Award.
Children & Families
Another amazing group that has reached out to us is Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) along with AFLAC Cancer and Blood Disorder Center. They have given us the rich experience of joining them in helping families whose children are battling Cancer.
We have been able to make homes safer, healthier, and more suitable for the family to have a successful outcome for their child. How awesome is that!?
SPECIAL NEEDS
Most of us can testify personally that life usually doesn't turn out the way we planned. Often we are forced to deal with challenges where we are in need of a helping hand.
GZG is committed to offering assistance to neighbors with Special Needs in the form of wheelchair ramps, handicap accessible bathrooms, and other home modifications to make life easier.
Disaster Relief
Disaster Relief is a huge part of our mission. We began with Katrina Relief and have since worked with communities in the Southeast and Puerto Rico that have been devastated by Hurricanes, tornados, and floods.
